Canopy Relay Toolkit

Quote follow-up without a CRM.

A simple self-serve system for small service businesses that need to remember who to follow up, what to send, and when to stop. Use real names, initials, job labels, or aliases. Your customer list stays under your control.

Toolkit v0 doorway

A concrete daily workspace for open quotes.

The first version is intentionally narrow: see the quotes that need a touch, copy a decent message if you want it, and close the loop when the customer responds.

Hi Elena, just checking whether you had any questions about the driveway cleaning estimate. Happy to adjust timing if needed.

Short text version

Hi Elena, wanted to check if you had questions about the driveway cleaning estimate.

Built for the in-between stage

For operators who are past sticky notes, but not ready for Jobber-sized software.

1

Add each open quote

Add only the detail you want: customer name, initials, job label, service, quote date, value, status, and next follow-up.

2

Use the suggested message

Copy a polite follow-up into the email or text tool you already use, edit it, or ignore it and write your own.

3

Close the loop

Mark replies, wins, no-thanks, and stale quotes so nothing keeps nagging you forever.

What the first version includes

Enough structure to follow up, not enough software to slow you down.

Private by default

No forced customer database.

Toolkit does not need your full customer list to be useful. You can track a quote as "Garcia driveway," "deck quote 6/28," "Customer A," or any label that makes sense to you.

Keep the real name, email address, phone number, and relationship history in the tools you already trust. Toolkit is there to remember the next touch, not to take over the customer relationship.

How a quote moves

Every open estimate gets a next step or a clean stop.

Toolkit keeps the operational state simple. The owner still controls the relationship; the system just keeps the follow-up from evaporating.

Open quote Estimate sent

Quote enters the queue with a customer name, initials, alias, or job label, plus service, date, optional amount, and source.

Follow-up due Message ready

Toolkit suggests the next email or text when useful. You can copy, edit, ignore, or write your own.

Customer signal Reply, win, or no

Replies and decisions move the quote out of the nagging loop.

Closed loop Done or stale

Quotes stop resurfacing once they are won, declined, stale, or intentionally closed.

Boundaries

Not a CRM. Not an AI sales rep. Not another inbox.

Early access

Help shape the self-serve version before we build too much.

Canopy Relay Toolkit is being validated now. The first doorway is a static working model of the product shape: daily follow-up queue, quote detail, status flow, and message suggestions.

If you run a service business and open quotes slip through the cracks, email your trade, rough quote volume, what you use today to track estimates, and how much customer detail you would actually want inside a follow-up tool. We will use that to decide what belongs in the first usable version.
